This beautiful new kitchen uses Bianco Superior quartzite stone with a leathered finish for its countertops and island. A leathered finish provides texture to the surface of the countertop. Whereas polished countertops are smooth, leathered countertops have a slightly rough feel to them that enhances the natural colors of the granite and provides a matte look to the stone.
Bianco Superior quartzite is a popular color because of its off-white coloring that transitions between varying shades of white and gray with distinct veins of smoke and charcoal. It goes very well with a wide range of cabinets and floor colors.
These countertops were fabricated and installed by Trend Stone Surfaces in Eau Claire, WI.
